WLAN Accesss Point with Ubuntu on Thinkpad X31 with Atheros chipsets

Install madwifi-tools:
sudo apt-get install madwifi-tools

Configure Accesspoint:
sudo wlanconfig ath0 destroy
sudo wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap
sudo iwconfig ath0 essid f00bar mode master
